What is Dashboard Sharing?

Give clients and teammates the dashboard behind your report. Share a link they can open without a Cromojo account, and add a title and description to explain what they are looking at.

Set the view and the access.

Choose a reporting period, decide whether viewers can change dates and filters, and add password protection when needed. Use a fixed date range or a rolling preset to suit the conversation.

A shared link provides viewing and optional exploration without access to your account settings. Revoke an individual link when the reporting conversation is finished or access is no longer needed.

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers on shared links and viewer access. For more detail, see our docs.
Does the viewer need a Cromojo account?

No. They open the shared URL. If you enabled password protection, they also need the password.

Can I add a password?

Yes. Turn on password protection when creating the link and give the password to the intended viewers.

Can viewers change the date range?

Yes, when you allow interaction. Otherwise the dashboard stays on the reporting window you selected.

Can I share a fixed reporting period?

Yes. Choose a custom start and end date. You can also choose rolling presets for a view that moves with time.

Can viewers filter the dashboard?

Interactive links support the public dashboard's available filters. Locked links keep the view fixed.

Can I hide individual dashboard sections?

The current sharing flow shares the full analytics dashboard. It does not offer section-by-section selection.

Can someone change my settings through a shared link?

The shared dashboard provides viewing and optional exploration. It does not give access to your account settings or editing controls.

Can I stop a link from working?

Yes. Revoke it from your site's shared links page to stop future access through that link.
